I’m a huge comics fan so when I read this story I could not wait to post. Nicki Minaj signed a deal with Bluewater Comics for a special edition release on their “Fame” series, written by Michael Troy and drawn by Jill Lamarina. The comic book is available in Standard and Superhero Covers at Comic flea Market for $3.99 and digital copies can be downloaded for $1.99 from iTunes, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, ComiXology, Google Books and more outlets.
Nicky Minaj went back to her caribbean roots in French Montana’s new single “FREAKS”. The track was produced by Rico Love, features two famous reggae songs Murder She Wrote sang by Chaka Demus & Pliers and Freaks sang by Lil Vicious’s. This one is definitely DJ Lakay approved. The single will be on French’s new album, Excuse My French in stores May 21st.
Nicki Minaj was scheduled to host her album release party on Tuesday night at Greenhouse Nightclub in New York City, but NYPD denied the superstar and her entourage entry at the door due to overcrowding. The event was sponsored by Smirnoff Iced Cake and Nicki was supposed to perform with Flo Rida and Fabolous. According to eyewitnesses Nicki showed up to the club with about 25 people at 3:30 AM to celebrate with her fans, but she was denied entry at the door by the police because they said the venue was at capacity and there was nothing they could do to accommodate her.
